Talk:Administering a courses main settings

From ClarolineDoc

I removed the following paragraf because it didn't make sense to me. I added a somewhat better description.

If you cannot edit, disable or delete features on the course homepage, the login you entered is a student login rather than a valid teacher login. To get a valid teacher login, you may self-register again and inform your system administrator that your former login may be deleted.

  • There is no need to register as a teacher to get course manager privileges.
  • You cannot edit the course page as an ordinary user (be it student or teacher). The teacher who created the course page is the first course manager and can give this privilege to other users. Only a teacher or the campus administrator could have created the course.
  • Deleting a teacher login may render her course websites inaccessible!
