I want to move an existing install to another hosting service, what do I have to do?

  • Just save all the main db and the course's db and copy them on your new server.
  • Save the all the courses folders and their content, copy them on the new server too.
  • Edit the file claroline/inc/conf/claro_main_conf.inc.php to set new URL of your campus and of the MySQL DB.

If you use .htaccess files for your security, some other changes to their content must be done too.
