Administering the classes
From ClarolineDoc
Since Claroline 1.6, you can use the classes in Claroline to organize big groups of users on your platform. This tool facilitates the administrative work. It enables the platform administrator to enrol at once a list of users (that are already registered on the platform) to a course. For example the administrator can register all the students of the 1st Bachelier to a course in a few clics.
- To edit the classes of the platform, you must be logged in as an administrator of the platform.
- To subscribe a specific class into your course, you just need to be the course manager of the concerned course.
This Classes tool is different from the Group tool, because the groups can only be used inside a course space, not across the whole platform.
